SRINAGAR, Oct 24: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday said India is demonstrating its capabilities across diverse sectors and is increasingly being recognised globally as a reliable partner, stressing that the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ requires the active participation of every citizen.

Sinha made the remarks in a message delivered at a birth centenary celebration of eminent litterateur Dr Rahi Masoom Raza organised in Ghazipur, where he paid tributes to the writer for his contributions to Indian literature and cinema.

The Lieutenant Governor said accelerated development across all regions and collective efforts were essential to building a developed, prosperous, strong, self-reliant and technologically advanced India. He cited the country’s progress in space technology and digital public infrastructure as examples of its growing capabilities.

Highlighting Raza’s literary legacy, Sinha said his works, including Aadha Gaon, Topi Shukla and Katra Bi Arzoo, along with his contribution to the screenplay of the television epic Mahabharat, reflected the cultural ethos of Ghazipur, Purvanchal and India while conveying universal values of humanity and harmony.

He said Raza’s writings underlined that India’s culture, heritage and future belonged to every citizen, adding that national unity was rooted in constitutional ideals, shared traditions and brotherhood.

Sinha urged people to strengthen social trust through dialogue, cooperation and compassion, and to regard the country’s diversity as a source of collective strength.

Calling upon the youth to remain connected to their roots while pursuing ambitious goals, he encouraged them to embrace innovation, hard work and dedication.
